There have been countless cameos on The CW's hit series Arrow from all corners of the DCU, but how much longer until we see an A-Lister appear? It could be sooner than you think.
Speaking with TV Guide, executive producer Marc Guggenheim says that the stage is being set for a potential cameo from Green Lantern.
"If all goes according to plan, when you see the Ferris Air logo later in the season, it will be the same logo that we established in the movie. I like tips of the hat."
That's not to say that Arrow and the Green Lantern film take place in the same "universe," though he doesn't rule out Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively making guest appearances as their respective characters from the movie.
"I would never say never," he said. "It's certainly something that we've talked about.
"As with all DC characters, we have to figure out a way for those characters to fit within our Arrow universe," he continues. "But when you consider the importance that Hal Jordan plays in the Green Arrow comics, it's certainly one of those names that we've discussed a great deal. I have Ryan Reynolds' phone number around here somewhere."
Guggenheim sounds more open to the idea of cameos now than he did when the show began, as the creators had a strict "No super powers" policy that they always cited in the beginning. Given Hal Jordan's history with Oliver Queen in the source material, a team-up is likely on the horizon. Do you want to see Green Lantern and Green Arrow together on the show?
