While the final costume and character designs ended up looking a little different from his proposals, acclaimed artist Alex Ross provided early concept art for Warner Bros.' big screen adaptation of DC Comics' Green Lantern mythos. Fans of the comics can see Ross' designs maintain much more of the look and feel of the original source material than the eventual movie did, from the traditional uniforms to Hal Jordan's square jaw to a faithful interpretation of the various members of the GL Corps.
CBR brings you this exclusive look at some of Ross' paintings, which are on display and up for sale this week during Comic-Con International in San Diego at the Alex Ross Booth (#2419).
